IN CHICAGO!!

Come hang with us and watch the first three episodes of the web series RM19 helped produce at FACETS Chicago. Following the screening, we will also have a live staged reading of a yet-to-be-filmed episode, along with a Q&A with creators Rosie Moan and Cristy von and director Mary Tilden, a reception, and meet and greet.

Doors open at 7pm and show starts at 7:30pm.

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

In the fall of 2023, a scrappy & hilarious team of Chicago comedians went into production for the improv-focused web series Collaborate & Listen.

As a semi-finalist for the Series Fest pitch competition in 2022, the project was already a long time in the making with the OG team, and getting to be a part of bringing it to life was a dream come true.

We completed post-production in the fall of 2024, and in 2025, Collaborate & Listen has been screened at Cinequest Film Festival, Series Fest, deadCenter Film Festival, Sidewalk Film Festival, Die Seriale (international premiere!), Broad Humor Comedy Festival and Hollyshorts Comedy Festival. And now, we want to share it with Chicago!!

Join us for our September edition of Film Girlz Brunch Chicago!! We are partnering with the delicious Lost Never Found for a super special DRAG BRUNCH<3

Notably, this spot is within walking distance to Landmark Century Centre Cinema, which is hosting Reeling Film Fest, in case any film girlz are headed over after!! Reeling is Chicago's international LGBTQ+ film fest so check out their schedule and see some queer film after brunch!

RSVPs are limited for this one, and there are cancellation fees, so PLEASE make sure to update your reservation if you're no longer able to make it. If you've never been to one of our events, folks are responsible for the food they order - but you will only ever cover yourself! No surprises at the end!

And in the world of Roller Babiez, we are wrapping up edits on V2 AKA our SECOND MAJOR DRAFT of the film. It’s a slow slog out in post production but we’re making it happen with a few bucks and a roller-skating dream<3 We’ve also been talking to bands, getting some animation done, and even a final pick-up shot. The work never ends!!

PROJECT UPDATES

We’ve been hard at work fundraising, casting, and location scouting for Traveling Discreetly at the Desert Rose Casino. Peep Imani (the writer and producer herself) at her casino-themed fundraiser party for this proof-of-concept short film. We’re filming later this year with lots to do!!
