Happy Halloween!! We are BACK with your monthly dose of artistic goodness. A little bit later than usual, as we just got back from a relaxing and rejuvenating trip to SANTA FE!! We took some much-needed time off to celebrate co-founder Julia’s birthday. But don’t worry, we have not stopped scheming and dreaming on our creative projects and community events!! We still have a few more events and premieres to finish out the year, so whether you’re a creative, a cinema lover, or a community donor, we hope you find something here that you’re into<3

ONE

IS COMING TO THE SMALL SCREEN!!

In just four days, YEAR ONE will be available to rent or own on all cable, satellite, and digital platforms including Apple TV and Prime Video.

The very first feature film we helped produce, YEAR ONE follows Ruby, played by Elizabeth Yu, whose freshman year of college doesn’t go as planned. A series of events send her on a downward emotional spiral, marked by dreams and the arrival of a glamorous alter ego who begins to live a life of her own.

After completing a successful festival run, YEAR ONE - with the help of Freestyle Digital Media - is finally ready to be seen by the world<3

Jamie & Julia got to rep Year One last month at the Midwest Film Fest, where we also learned we were nominated for the Best of the Midwest Awards!!

A SUCCESSFUL NIGHT FOR C&L

We are honored to have worked with such incredible creatives, performers, and artists on web series Collaborate & Listen!!
It was a fabulous night celebrating the Chicago premiere of such a fun and beautiful love letter to Chicago’s improv comedy scene. Much love to our team of producer-writers Rosie Moan & Cristy Von, and producer-director Mary Tilden.

Next goal for C&L - filming the rest of the web series and eventually turning it into a full series. Our premiere audience even got a sneak peek at one of the future episodes with a hilarious staged reading. Keep following along to help us make it happen!!!
