We are BACK with your monthly dose of creative goodness!! This month, we’re celebrating a FULL YEAR since our RM.19 launch party, which took place February 19th, 2024. Here at RM.19, we believe that the stories we tell about ourselves and each other MATTER. And our goals to create intersectional community with women/nb filmmakers and uplift their stories will not be changing, regardless of those in power. So stick with us - whether you’re a creative or a supporter of all things creative, we hope you find something here that you’re into <3

CONGRATS COLLABORATE

& LISTEN

We are SO thrilled to share the exciting news that our web-series Collaborate & Listen will have its world premiere at Cinequest on March 23rd.

Cinequest is an Oscar-qualifying film festival in San Jose and Collaborate & Listen Episodes 1 and 2 will be premiering on the last day of the fest! There is also a virtual version of the festival March 24-31, so you can also watch from the comfort of your couch.

Check out the teaser for this workplace comedy set in the little-known world of corporate team building! You’ll meet Judy Durante and Ryan Twaine, unconventional facilitators and best friends who bring their quirky charm and unscripted approach to their small business. As they compete against the formidable improvisation experts from The Third Coast Theater, tensions rise and the line between personal and professional relationships blurs. This unique series offers a hilarious and heartwarming blend of comedy, camaraderie, and unscripted adventure, making it a must-watch for fans of workplace humor and offbeat team dynamics.

We’re rolling out the red carpet (okay, maybe not literally) for a night of movies, mingling, and more in Kinowerks' lounge and theater. Grab a seat, catch snippets of your favorite films on the big screen, and enjoy some tasty refreshments while you take it all in.

Film Girlz Brunch is sponsored by RM.19 Productions and Players: A Film Industry Podcast with the intention of creating a communal space for femme folks in the film industry to come together and meet. And if you haven’t heard of Kinowerks yet, now’s the time! They’re a North Chicago creative hub built by and for artists—a space where storytellers connect, collaborate, and bring bold ideas to life.

There’s a suggested $15 donation, which helps Film Girlz Brunch keep the magic going with exciting programming all year long!
